The Higginsville Board of Aldermen approved a couple of bills during its meeting on Tuesday, January 16.
One bill involves the city and county getting together on 9-1-1 Central Dispatch Services, according to City Administrator Jeanette Dobson.

Dobson said the 9-1-1 tax money from the county will be forwarded to the city, as well.
Dobson said the other bill approved is for an agreement between the city and Choice Recovery, Inc., to for the collection of past due ambulance bills for the city.
In other news, aldermen approved Dallas Reitz to be commissioned as a police officer; and the appointments of Clint Bedell and Cody Moss to the Building Code Board of Appeals and Lee Barker and Jerry Leonard to the Planning Commission.
