The Missouri Valley College Music Department is scheduled to host guest artist Dr. Arthur White who will present a masterclass and concert on February 7.
Dr. Arthur White, an Andreas Eastman jazz and saxophone artist, is a nationally-recognized composer, arranger, educator and touring saxophonist.
Dr. Arthur White, saxophone, and his jazz combo is scheduled to present a masterclass at 4 p.m. in the Bacon Room at the Malcolm Center for Student Life. The masterclass is free and open to the public.
A fundraising dinner concert also is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. in the Bacon Room.
Tickets for the dinner concert are $30, which includes the concert, dinner and bar service; tickets also may be purchased for $20, which includes the concert and dinner only. All proceeds will go to the MVC Music Department.
