A Sedalia woman reported her credit cards stolen to authorities on November 29, 2017, and another woman who was seen on video surveillance allegedly trying to use the credit cards at multiple locations has been charged with a felony.
According to a probable-cause statement, video from all of the locations, where the cards allegedly were used or attempted to be used– except one, were obtained, and 27-year-old Heather N. Reyes, of Sedalia, has been identified by authorities as the suspect.
Online court documents say a warrant has been issued, and Reyes has been charged with a Class D Felony for Receiving Stolen Property and a misdemeanor for Fraudulent Use of a Credit or Debit Device. Bond has been fixed at $4,000 cash or surety, with unspecified special conditions.
An initial hearing for Reyes at Pettis County Circuit Court in Sedalia is pending.
