Two Clinton residents sustained injuries in a traffic crash in Henry County on Monday.
A report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol says the crash occurred as an eastbound vehicle, driven by 17-year-old Alexis Griffis, reportedly failed to negotiate a curve, slid off the right side of the roadway and into a creek.
Griffis reportedly suffered moderate injuries and a 15-year-old passenger in the vehicle suffered minor injuries. Each reportedly was transported by Golden Valley E.M.S. to Golden Valley Hospital in Clinton for treatment.
The crash happened at about 6:45 p.m. on Northwest 950th Road at 651st Road.
