A Boonville man who allegedly would not leave a residence when asked and allegedly assaulted a woman has been charged with a couple of felonies in Cooper County.
A probable-cause statement says Brian Anthony Anderson and a woman are going through a divorce. Anderson reportedly went to her residence where he has not lived in several months, and allegedly would not leave despite being asked multiple times; shoved the woman on the bed and held her down, not allowing her to get up; and allegedly choked her. The law-enforcement officer who reported to the scene reportedly noted the woman had red marks on her neck and arms that were consistent with being choked and grabbed.
Online court documents say a warrant has been issued, and Anderson has been charged with Class D Felonies for Domestic Assault in the Second Degree and Kidnapping in the Second Degree and a misdemeanor for trespassing. Bond has been fixed at $10,000 cash or surety, with a condition being Anderson is not to have any contact with the alleged victim.
An initial hearing for Anderson at Cooper County Circuit Court in Boonville is pending.
