A Mendon resident has been charged with multiple felonies after authorities allegedly found several drug-related items at a residence on Friday, January 19.
According to a probable-cause statement, as result of the execution of a search warrant by the North Missouri Drug Task Force, authorities allegedly found several baggies containing a crystal-like substance, a spoon with residue, a syringe and needle, scales, glass pipes and several other drug-related items at a residence in the 25300 block on Liberty Road. The substances allegedly tested positive as methamphetamine.
A warrant was ordered, has been issued, and 59-year-old Robert Walker has been charged with a Class B Felony for Delivery of a Controlled Substance, Except 35 Grams or Less of Marijuana or Synthetic Cannabinoid; a Class D Felony for Possession of a Controlled Substance, Except 35 Grams or Less of Marijuana or Synthetic Cannabinoid; and a Class E Felony for Keeping or Maintaining a Public Nuisance. Bond has been fixed at $5,000 cash only, no surety allowed.
Walker’s initial hearing at Chariton County Circuit Court in Keytesville is pending.
