A recent tractor-trailer accident reportedly had traffic backed up on U.S. Highway 65, between Marshall and the I-70 Junction earlier today.
According to a representative with the Missouri State Highway Patrol, about 2 p.m. today, the agency received a report of a tractor trailer accident, where the vehicle came to rest on its side. As of 5:10 p.m., crews are still working on the accident near Highway H, also known as Boat Road, where they reportedly should have the scene cleared in the next hour or so.
No other details were disclosed about the accident, and motorist traveling in the area can expect delays due to the one lane of traffic.
