A Marshall man who allegedly threatened to do harm to his wife and had illegal drugs on his person when apprehended by authorities on Saturday, January 27, has been charged with a couple of felonies in Saline County.
According to a probable-cause statement, Brandon Eliam Alexander threatened the woman through text messages, prompting her to contact authorities while she was at another person’s residence. During a search of Alexander, authorities reportedly found methamphetamine and other drug-related items.
According to online court documents, Alexander has been charged with a D Felony for Possession of a Controlled Substance, Except 35 Grams or Less of Marijuana; a Class E Felony for Harassment in the First Degree; and a drug-related misdemeanor. Bond has been set at $15,000 cash only, with several conditions.
An initial hearing for Alexander at Saline County Circuit Court in Marshall is pending.
