A Sedalia woman has been charged with a felony for being the driver of a vehicle, which allegedly hit another vehicle and then left the scene without reporting it on December 11, 2017.
According to a probable-cause statement, a vehicle, driven by 19-year-old Elizabeth Franklin, allegedly hit a parked vehicle at the Thompson Hills Shopping Center. The lowest estimate of damage to the parked vehicle is just more than $1,700.
According to online court documents, Franklin has been charged with a Class E Felony for Leaving the Scene of an Accident- Property Damage Exceeding $1,000.
An initial hearing for Franklin at Pettis County Circuit Court in Sedalia is pending.
