A Scott County resident was injured in a traffic crash involving a tractor trailer in Lafayette County on Monday.
According to a report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred as the driver of an eastbound vehicle, 50-year-old Jennifer Huskey, of Chaffee, reportedly lost control and struck the towed unit of a eastbound Kenworth, driven by 41-year-old Timothy Woodruff, of Kansas City. Huskey’s vehicle then traveled off the right side of the roadway and came to a rest.
Huskey reportedly was transported by ambulance to I-70 Medical Center in Sweet Springs for treatment of moderate injuries. Woodruff reportedly was not injured.
The crash happened just before 3 p.m. on I-70, one-quarter of a mile west of Concordia.
