The Concordia Board of Aldermen approved several items on its agenda during a meeting on Monday, February 5.
According to the minutes, The board approved a quote from Crockett Engineering for $18,800, to design plans for repairs needed on Northwest 4th Street. The company will be working with MoDOT to formulate the best plan of action to fix the roadway. In other business, the board also authorized Crockett Engineering to prepare potential School Zone plans and descriptions for Concordia Elementary and High School, as well as St. Paul Elementary.
The board also approved to pay Skid Pro for the purchase of a brush attachment for a skid steer for $5,398.98, and to close a portion of South St. Louis and Southwest 7th Streets on April 2 for bus inspections.
The board announced City Hall will be closed for President’s Day on February 19, with the next board meeting scheduled to be held on February 20.
