A Monroe County resident has been charged with multiple felonies after he allegedly broke into some offices and stole some items on February 4 in Boonville.
According to a probable-cause statement, 19-year-old Jacob Lee Sharp, of Holliday, is accused of burglarizing three offices at the Valley Hope alcohol and drug rehabilitation facility and taking several items, which reportedly were found by authorities under the bed in his room.
According to online court documents, Sharp has been charged with three counts of a Class D Felony for Burglary in the Second Degree and a misdemeanor for stealing. Bond has been set at $10,000 cash or surety.
Sharp reportedly entered a plea of not guilty during his arraignment hearing on February 6. His cause has been continued for a counsel-status hearing at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, February 20, at Cooper County Circuit Court in Boonville.
