An area man was killed in an apparent tractor accident in rural Pettis County on Wednesday, February 14.
A release from the Pettis County Sheriff’s Office says at approximately 7 p.m., deputies responded to the area of Route CC and Rangleline Road for a reported tractor accident.
Upon arrival, deputies reportedly found 36-year-old Eric M. Chevalier pinned under a tractor and attempts to revive him were unsuccessful.
Chevalier was later pronounced deceased by the Pettis County Coroner’s Office.
