A Sedalia man charged with a felony for allegedly assaulting a woman during an incident last year, has a court date scheduled this week in Pettis County.
According to a probable-cause statement, the woman reportedly suffered injuries to her face, due to being punched and kicked allegedly by 27-year-old Robert Gullett on June 20, 2017. The woman reportedly was seen by a doctor and the medical report showed she suffered orbital, nasal and jaw fractures.
Online court documents say Gullett has been charged with a Class A Felony for Assault in the First Degree- Causing Serious Physical Injury.
Online court document also say Gullett entered a plea of not guilty during his arraignment hearing on October 12, 2017, and his cause was continued for a case-hearing scheduled at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, February 20, at Pettis County Circuit Court in Sedalia.
