Three persons were taken into custody and are awaiting formal charges to be filed after the execution of a “no-knock” search warrant allegedly revealed illegal drugs to be in a residence in Sedalia on Friday, February 23.
According to a post on the Sedalia Police Department’s Facebook page, patrol officers and detectives with the criminal investigations bureau and drug-enforcement unit reportedly found evidence to indicate methamphetamine distribution was occurring at the residence in the 500 block of East 10th Street. Methamphetamine, marijuana, drug paraphernalia and a .40-caliber handgun reportedly were uncovered.
All three subjects reportedly were arrested and transported to the Pettis County Jail.
Multiple charges are being sought against the three persons. However, formal charges have not been posted. Per KMMO policy, the names of the subjects will not be released until charges are filed.
