The Brunswick R-2 School Board discussed the purchase of an indoor batting cage and the resignation of a student aid who worked for the district over three decades during its meeting on Tuesday, February 20.
Superintendent Bob Kottman said the district decided to use some funds from a grant to purchase an indoor batting cage.
In other business, Kottman said a kindergarten aid who has worked with the district for about 30 years is ready to retire and travel with her husband.
In other business, Kottman said the board began discussing summer work projects needed on the district’s facilities, which included installing new windows and doors.
