Residents from the communities of Alma, Blackburn, Grand Pass, Malta Bend and Waverly are invite to the Santa Fe Ball Association’s Annual Open Meeting on Monday, February 26.
According to a news release, the agenda for the meeting is scheduled to include: the presentation of the annual status-report of the ball association; sharing information regarding the upcoming baseball and softball season; accepting nominations for the four Board of Director’s terms; and receiving additional registration forms for any child interested in enrolling in the summer youth program who is at the age of four, as of January 1, 2018.
Also, any adults who are interested in helping coach a team needs to express interest to the board and be willing to submit to a volunteer background check for the safety of the youth involved.
The meeting will be held at 7 p.m. at Santa Fe High School in Alma.
