A Marshall man who was arrested and charged with a couple of felonies for his alleged involvement in an armed robbery last year is due in court on Monday, February 26.
According to a release from the Marshall Police Department, a man alleged 42-year-old Charles Dean Perkins pulled a gun on him and stole his debit card and laptop on November 30. Police reportedly recovered the laptop during Perkins’ arrest.
Online court documents say Perkins has been charged with a Class A Felony for Robbery in the First Degree and an Unclassified Felony for Armed Criminal Action. Perkins’ bond was set at $100,000 cash only.
Perkins, who entered a plea of not guilty on February 13 during his arraignment, is scheduled to appear for a motion hearing- including change of venue and bond reduction- at 11 a.m. at Saline County Circuit Court.
