Some elected officials’ terms in Saline County run out this year.
During the meeting of the Saline County Commission on Tuesday, February 27, Clerk Debbie Russell said the sign-up period to run for an office began at 8 a.m. She said Associate Judges- Divisions 5 and 6- of the Circuit Court will be on the ballot, as will some others.

Russell said several current officeholders have filed to run for another term.

Russell said the filing period runs through Tuesday, March 27.
The primary election is in August.
