A former marine from New Jersey is currently walking to St. Louis from Kansas City to help raise awareness for a child recently diagnosed with cancer, and the gentleman is expected to walk through the KMMO listening area this week.
Jim Hickey (LEFT) is making the long hike to St. Louis for 3-year-old Adleigh Biles, (BOTTOM) of Kansas City, who was recently diagnosed with a rare form of brain cancer.
In a phone interview with KMMO, Hickey details his purpose and what towns he will be walking through.

 
Hickey added he hopes to inspire others to help those who are in need.
