A search for a man who escaped custody at the Saline County Courthouse triggered a soft lock down at Marshall Public Schools on Wednesday, February 28.
According to Assistant Superintendent Dr. Terry Lorenz, the precautionary measure was taken to keep everybody safe.

According to a release from the Saline County Sheriff’s Department, 34-year-old Christopher Miller was located near LaCrosse Lumber and taken into custody, without any further incident, just before 11 a.m. Members of the Marshall Police Department and Missouri State Highway Patrol assisted in the search.
