Missouri Valley College Vice President of Academic Affairs Dr. Diane Bartholomew will be awarded the 2018 Most Distinguished Athletic Trainer Award by the Mid America Athletic Trainers’ Association (MAATA) during the 2018 Hall of Fame and Awards Dinner on Friday, March 16, in LaVista, Nebraska.
The award reportedly is to recognize her for her exceptional commitment to leadership, volunteer service, advocacy and distinguished professional activities as an athletic trainer at the district and state levels.
Dr. Bartholomew has served as the newsletter editor, president elect, president, past-president and past-president pro tempore of the Iowa Athletic Trainers’ Association (IATS). Bartholomew was inducted into the IATS Hall of Honor in 2016 and was recognized as the IATS Educator of the Year in 2013.
