The Missouri State Highway Patrol said an area resident had a felony probation warrant for his arrest which led to a standoff with law enforcement recently in Saline County.
Missouri Highway Patrol Troop A Sergeant Collin Stosberg details the events surrounding the standoff in the 500 block of North Franklin Avenue in Marshall, which reportedly ended about 2 a.m. on Sunday, March 4.
Sergeant Stosberg said the information he had on 47-year-old Luther Blackwell indicated he was a resident of Marshall and previously lived in the St. Louis area.
