Two Warsaw residents sustained injuries in a traffic crash in Benton County on Sunday.
A report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol says the crash occurred as an eastbound vehicle, driven by 35-year-old Jeannie Culbertson, reportedly began skidding, traveled off the left side of the roadway and struck a tree.
Culbertson reportedly sustained moderate injuries, while a passenger in the vehicle, 35-year-old Cody Crow, suffered serious injuries. Crow reportedly was flown by Life Flight helicopter to University Hospital in Columbia, while Culbertson was transported by ambulance to Bothwell Hospital in Sedalia for treatment. The report says neither of the vehicle’s occupants was wearing a seat belt.
The crash happened at about 4:30 p.m. on Preserve Drive, just east of Retreat Lane.
