At its meeting on Monday, March 5, the Marshall City Council was asked to approve a bid for a batwing mower for the Municipal Airport.
Ward 3 Councilman Dan Brandt said it is a budgeted item, and two bids were received.

Usually, the lower bid is accepted. But Brandt actually said the higher-priced mower was recommended by Municipal Services personnel.

Brandt’s motion for the purchase of the John Deere mower was given the green light by the council.
