At recent meetings of the Marshall School Board and City Council, they approved an agreement between the Culinary Arts Program and the Parks and Recreation Department.
At the meeting of the Marshall Park Board on Wednesday, March 7, Superintendent Jeff Stubblefield said area residents are invited to a special event to sample some of what the students will be cooking up when the Golf House Grill opens at a later date.

Stubblefield says all involved are excited about the opportunity.

Stubblefield said it is a free event from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Friday, March 9, but they will be accepting donations.
