Residents in the city of Sweet Springs will see their sewer rate increase slightly after the Board of Aldermen approved the language of the ordinance at its meeting on Monday, March 12.
City Clerk Michelle Fuehring explains what the new rate will be.

Fuehring said the $.023 rate will be for every cubic foot of usage over 133.
Fuehring said the new rate will go into effect with the March billing cycle.
