An Odessa youth suffered injuries in a rollover traffic crash in Lafayette County on Sunday.
A report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol says the crash occurred as a northbound vehicle, driven by 32-year-old Kaleem Azam, of Odessa, reportedly slid on an ice-covered roadway, ran off the right side of the roadway, struck an embankment and overturned.
While Azam reportedly was not injured, an 8-year-old passenger in the vehicle reportedly was transported by private vehicle to Lafayette Regional Health Center in Lexington for treatment of minor injuries.
The crash happened at about 3:15 p.m. on Route O at Coyote Lane.
