A Marshall man recently charged with two sex-related felonies involving a juvenile has a court date scheduled in Saline County on Wednesday, April 4.
According to a probable-cause statement, Monoleto Ontario Morand is alleged to have solicited and attempted to engage in inappropriate sexual acts with a juvenile male on more than one occasion.
According to online court documents, Morand has been charged with an Unclassified Felony for Sodomy or Attempted Sodomy in the First Degree with a Victim Less Than 12 Years Old and an Unclassified Felony for Sodomy or Attempted Sodomy in the First Degree. Bond was set at $250,000 cash only.
Morand was formally arraigned on March 30, and his cause was continued with a counsel-status hearing at 9 a.m. at Saline County Circuit Court.
