There are races for several school boards in Cooper County during the Municipal Election today.
Stephanie Schuster-Day, Amanda Green Blank and Erica Sims are vying for two positions on the Blackwater R-2 School Board; David Morrison, Brian Aggeler, John Meyer, Ben Kroeger and Wilma Watring for two seats on the Otterville R-6 School Board; Rachel Lock, Peggy Ann Eichen and Amanda Cantrell for two seats on the Prairie Home R-5 School Board; Jeremiah Ranow, Brandon Dunham, Allison Kruger and Brad McCord for two seats on the Moniteau R-1 School Board; and Curt Tagtmeyer, Stacey Luttrell and Kyle Asbury for two seats on the Smithton R-6 School Board.
Joyce Gibson and David Gann are squaring off for Ward 1 Councilperson in Prairie Home.
Some voting for two State Fair Community College Board of Trustees seats will be in Cooper County. Running are: Patty Wood, Jim Page, Diana Sadler Martin and Cynthia Ann Gray.
Russell Gerling, Howard Draffen and Gerald Ulrich are vying for two seats on the Cooper County Fire Protection District Board of Directors.
Also, residents of Windsor Place are being asked to approve a local use tax.
Polls close at 7 p.m.
