A seminar is scheduled to be held for all area church professionals and officials in Marshall on Thursday, April 12.
According to a news release, the Marshall Ministerial Alliance with assistance from the police department will present the seminar titled “Church Building Security” at 7 p.m. at the Latter Day Saint Church Facility at 1000 South Apache Drive.
Marshall Police Chief Mike Donnell is scheduled to present a program detailing the steps available to the local faith community to keep its congregations safe, as well as discuss the possibilities of church security. After the program, a question and answer session will be open to the attendees.
The program will have refreshments and is open to all churches in the Saline County area.
