The Care Connection for Aging Services is scheduled to offer a free seminar titled “Money Management: What Every Woman Should Know” in Saline County on Thursday, April 12
According to a news release, Saline County Care Manager Jacklyn Vansteenburgh will teach the 90-minute session beginning at 1 p.m. at the Marshall Senior Center at 14 East Morgan Street. The seminar is geared toward women 65 and older. However, the session is open to spouses and potential caregivers as well.
Participants are scheduled to learn about– income needs and sources; savings and investments; credit card debt; long-term care insurance; and financial planning professionals.
Care Connection is a non-profit area agency on aging serving 13 counties in West Central Missouri. Its mission is to provide resources and services that empower people to create healthy aging experiences.
Reservations are not required but appreciated so that enough materials are on hand.
