The Sweet Springs Fair is scheduled to be held August 1-4, and several requests were made to accommodate the fair during the meeting of the Sweet Springs Board of Aldermen on Monday, April 9.
Lisa Hall, a member of the fair board, asked Aldermen requested a liquor license be approved.

In other news, Hall, who also is a member of the recreation board, reported a bid that originally was approved for dragging and marking of the ball fields was pulled back by the bidder. So, she informed the board the project will have to be put out for bid again.
