After considering the recommendations made by the Transient Guest Tax Board for dispersal of funds for this year, Sweet Springs Alderman Rodney Heaper suggested some changes during the alderman meeting on Monday, April 9.
Heaper said he has nothing against any of the organizations listed receiving money, but thought the money could be dispersed a little better. So, after several minutes of discussion, he made a motion to amend some of the figures.

Heaper pointed out the changes he proposed will require some money to be taken out of the $40,000 currently in the Transient Guest Tax reserve fund.
Aldermen approved Heaper’s motion.
