The Missouri Department of Transportation has announced a road closure in Howard County on Wednesday.
According to a news release, a portion of Highway 5, between West Morrison and Davis Streets in Fayette, is scheduled to be closed while city maintenance continue repairs on a sewer main.
The work is scheduled to take place until sometime in the afternoon on Thursday, April 12.
Motorists are advised to seek an alternate route around the affected area until work is completed.
