According to a news release from New Franklin Police Chief Mike Wise, as of 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 12, the city has been without water service as a broken valve is being fixed.
The issue reportedly is scheduled to be resolved later this evening, and all New Franklin residents will be under a boil order until further notice once the water service is returned.
