A Marshall man who had a felony warrant out for his arrest and eluded law enforcement last month, was apprehended by authorities on Thursday, April 12.
According to a release from the Saline County Sheriff’s Department, Matthew Joseph Coke reportedly was taken into custody on a felony charge for unlawful possession of a firearm and misdemeanors for possession of an imitation controlled substance, resisting arrest and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.
A probable-cause statement says Coke reportedly eluded law enforcement after he allegedly was found to be in possession of a firearm and various drug paraphernalia near the Marshall Habilitation Lake on March 25.
