An area fire department is scheduled to hold a chili supper fundraiser to help support volunteer firefighters in Pettis County on Saturday, April 14.
According to a news release, the Pettis County Fire District Association will be hosting its annual chili supper from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the district’s headquarters at 1608 Clarendon Road in Sedalia.
The cost to attend is $5 per adult, $3 for senior citizens and children ages five to 12 and children under the age of four eat for free. Patrons will get a choice of chili, chili dog, or hot dog and desert with a beverage.
A new event this year is scheduled to be held in the afternoon hours which will be a dessert auction.
