An area resident sustained injuries in a two-vehicle traffic crash in Cooper County on Tuesday.
According to a report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred as a westbound vehicle, driven by 19-year-old Daulton Curry, of Greensburg, Kentucky, reportedly failed to yield at a stop sign and struck a southbound vehicle, driven by 73-year-old George Litton, of Blackwater.
While Curry reportedly was not injured, Litton was transported by ambulance to University Hospital in Columbia for treatment of minor injuries.
The crash happened just before 11 a.m. on Missouri Highway 135 at the westbound exit ramp at mile marker 98 on I-70.
