A Boonville teen has been charged with felonies for allegedly threatening to kill another person with a gun on March 22, 2018.
According to a probable-cause statement, a resident on Guyers Ford Drive reported to authorities that shots had been fired by Cameron Isaiah Comstock outside her residence. The woman also reported Comstock threatened to kill her son multiple times that day over a dispute that had been ongoing between the two.
After two shots were fired, the woman called 9-1-1- and allegedly saw a vehicle that belonged to Comstock leaving the scene.
The next day when questioned by authorities, 17-year-old Comstock reportedly said he threw rocks as hard as he could against the residence to make them sound like gunshots to scare them.
According to online court documents, a criminal summons has been issued, and Comstock has been charged with two counts of a Class E Felony for First-Degree Harassment; a Class E Felony for Stalking in the First Degree; and a misdemeanor for peace disturbance.
Comstock’s arraignment hearing has been set for 1 p.m. on Tuesday, May 15, at Cooper County Circuit Court.
