After hearing some reports, including one about design proposals by two engineering firms for a possible baseball/softball field and facility improvements being planned this summer and beyond and holding a closed, executive session, the Glasgow School Board adjourned to reorganize during its meeting on Wednesday, April 18.
According to a news release, David Clements was elected to serve as the board president, Bob Draffen as vice president, Sally Hackman as secretary and Tammy Monnig as treasurer. New members Mitch Monnig and Josh DeMint reportedly had previously been sworn into office.
In closed session, the board accepted letters of resignation from elementary teacher Tashia Martin and band director Kelsey Whitacre and approved the hiring of Destinee Jones as a teacher for middle school/high school history.
