Several roadwork projects are scheduled to begin this week in Chariton County.
According to MoDOT, beginning on Monday, April 23, pothole patching is scheduled on Route JJ, from Jarrow Road to Route E.
On Tuesday, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., culvert replacement is scheduled to close a portion of Highway 5, from Routes E and D. Also on Tuesday, pothole patching is scheduled to begin on Route E, from Highway 5 to Highway 11, until Friday, April 27.
On Thursday, culvert replacement is scheduled to close a portion of Route KK, from Flat Road to Slough Road, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. until Friday, April 27; and pothole patching is scheduled on Route F, from Routes E and D.
