The Missouri FFA Association recognized three area FFA members as Area Stars in their experience categories during the state convention in Columbia.
According to news releases, Alexandria Lock and Matthew Jenkins, both of Carrollton, were named Area 6 Stars in Agriscience, and Tyler Driskell, of Marshall, was named Area 6 Star Farmer.
Area Stars are selected based upon outstanding achievement in work experience and outstanding production as part of a student’s supervised agricultural experience program and active participation in FFA. Area 6 includes 20 chapters within the Central District.
The area FFA members earned the Area Star recognition during the 90th Missouri FFA Convention held April 19-20, 2018.
