A Columbia man has been charged with multiple felonies for allegedly robbing a victim at gunpoint earlier this month in Cooper County.
A probable-cause statement says at about 2:30 p.m. on April 10, Robert Anthony Rehmer reportedly entered a mobile home and stole items from a victim on Americana Street in Boonville. Rehmer allegedly stole a laptop computer and a cell phone while pointing a handgun at the victim.
Online court document say a warrant has been issued, and Rehmer is charged with a Class A Felony for Robbery in the First Degree, an Unclassified Felony for Armed Criminal Action, as well as two Class E Felonies for Unlawful Use of a Weapon and Stealing-Fourth of Subsequent Offense within 10 years. Bond was set at $100,000 cash or surety.
Rehmer’s initial hearing at Cooper County Circuit Court is pending.
