Two Camdenton residents have been charged with felonies for allegedly burglarizing a property in Odessa on April 23, 2018.
According to a probable-cause statement, the owner of the property on Old U.S. Highway 40 had blocked in a vehicle until authorities arrived. In the vehicle, authorities found numerous items, allegedly belonging to the owner of the property. The value of the items is estimated at $1,000. They also were found to be in possession of burglary tools. And one of the two possessed some drug-related items, including two hypodermic needles loaded with a liquid that field-tested positive for methamphetamine.
According to online court documents, warrants have been issued, and Jonathon Reberry and Shannon Monahan have been charged with Class D Felonies for Burglary in the second Degree and Stealing of $750 or More; and a Class E Felony for Possession of Burglary Tools. Monahan also has been charged with a Class D Felony for Possession of a Controlled Substance, Except 35 Grams or Less of Marijuana and a drug-related misdemeanor. Bond for each subject has been set at $25,000 cash or surety, with several conditions.
An initial hearing for each subject is pending at Lafayette County Circuit Court.
