A 65-year-old Carrollton man who has been charged with two felonies relating to a shooting incident on February 16 is due in court on Wednesday, April 25.
According to a probable-cause statement, the incident happened in the 900 block of Park Street. A person sustained two gunshot wounds, which required the victim to undergo multiple surgeries.
Rex Stacy allegedly was found to have shot the person during an altercation at his residence.
Online court documents say Stacy has been charged with a Class A Felony for First-Degree Assault-Causing Serious Physical Injury and an Unclassified Felony for Armed Criminal Action.
Stacy was arraigned on April 2, and his next hearing is set for 9 a.m. at Carroll County Circuit Court.
