A Raytown man allegedly was found to be in possession of methamphetamine and marijuana at an area jail facility.
According to a probable-cause statement, 32-year-old Erik Swanson was incarcerated at the Saline County Jail where authorities found approximately two grams of marijuana and one-half gram of methamphetamine in his bed roll. Swanson reportedly provided a urine test which results came back positive for the presences of methamphetamine and THC.
Online court documents say Swanson has been charged with two counts of a Class D Felony for Delivery or Possession of a Controlled Substance at a County Jail, as well as two counts of a drug-related misdemeanor. Bond was set at $10,000 cash or surety.
Swanson’s initial hearing at Saline County Circuit Court is pending.
