BRRR! That was the feeling for much of the month of April, which came in like a lion with low temperatures and some snow.
According to statistics from the National Weather Service, the average high temperature figured out to be 57.6 degrees at the KMMO studio. The high was 85 on April 15. The mercury climbed to the 70s on six other days.
The average low temperature was just above freezing at 34.4 degrees. In all, 16 nights had a low of freezing or below, with the low of 19 being recorded on April 8.
Not much precipitation fell, with only 45-hundredths of an inch being recorded. Measurable precipitation was registered on eight days, with the most– 12-hundredths of an inch falling on April 3.
