Missouri Valley College will confer 224 degrees to students at its commencement ceremony at 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 5, at Gregg-Mitchell Field on the MVC campus in Marshall.
According to a news release, this will be the 129th class to graduate from MVC, and consists of 218 undergraduate students and six students graduating from the College’s graduate program in community counseling.
Frank Massaro, a 1976 MVC grad, will deliver the commencement address.
Dr. Diane Bartholomew, vice president of academic affairs, will present two students with the Charles L. Bacon Distinguished Service Award, which is given annually to a senior man and woman– voted on by the senior class.
In the event of inclement weather, the commencement ceremony will be moved to the Burns Athletic Complex on MVC’s campus.
