Two Saline County Career Center DECA students placed in the top 10 in an event at the international competition held last month in Atlanta, GA, and the students are scheduled to be recognized later this month at the State Capitol.
According to a news release, Elijah Jackson(on left) and T-Love William(on right) earned Second Place in the Creative Marketing Project event at the DECA International Career Development Competition held April 20- 25. The competition featured over 19,000 students from the United States, Canada, Spain, Germany, China, and other international countries.
Jackson and William with their advisor, Kerry Henley, will be recognized at the Excellence in Marketing Education ceremony held at the State Capitol Building in Jefferson City on May 17.
